Welcome Home! The little house that YOU built. This is Tameka and her children. After living for years in violence and unsafe conditions, Tameka worked, researched and applied to be a Rockford Area Habitat for Humanity Homeowner. Tameka worked to increase her income. Tameka worked to correct and improve her credit. Tameka studied finance, budgeting and home ownership. Tameka spent over 300 hours, tools in hand, building a house that would become her family's home. The building of Tameka's home was financed by funds raised by YOU!
