Dear Supporters, Donors and Friends,
It is with mixed emotions that we share this important news with you. After 14 incredibly fulfilling years of serving the needs of children in our community, Club Blue has made the difficult decision to dissolve our nonprofit organization. This decision was not made lightly, but it reflects our commitment to responsible stewardship of our resources and a thoughtful assessment of our mission and impact.
Since our inception, we have been dedicated to improving the lives of children in need. Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones, impacting countless young lives through our fundraising events. We are immensely proud of the positive changes we’ve been able to make and we couldn’t have done it without your unwavering support.
The decision to dissolve Club Blue was made after careful consideration of several factors, including changes in our community’s needs, shifts in the nonprofit landscape, and the challenges presented by the ever-evolving philanthropic environment. Our Board of Directors believe that this is the most responsible and ethical course of action to take at this time.
We want to assure you that our commitment to our mission remains strong until the very end. As we wind down our operations, we will continue to fulfill our existing commitments and ensure that all remaining resources are directed towards causes that align with our mission and values. We will be working diligently to complete the dissolution process in full compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. We will also be making arrangements to transfer any remaining assets to the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois ensuring that the legacy of Club Blue lives on. We encourage our audience to stay engaged and continue supporting the causes you hold dear, including the Club Blue endowment which will be held in perpetuity at CFNIL.
We are deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in us, the generosity you have shown, and the incredible support you have provided through the years. It’s because of you that we were able to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children in need all while throwing some memorable fundraisers. We are proud of what we have accomplished together, and we look forward to seeing the positive changes this community will continue to make in the lives of children.
